Special Weapons: An array of specialized weaponry, from silver tipped cold steel telescoping baton, oak wood staff (oak being anathema to many mystical beings and known to hold a consecration quite well), plastic squirt guns filled with holy water or oil coated with mulched garlic or St. John's Wort (hey, it works!), "psychic grenades" (i.e., various herbal-based weaponry known to have detrimental effects on ghosts, demonic entities, vampires, and other supernatural beasts), iron blades (iron being a wonderful repellent for numerous mystical creatures), small enchanted mallet (which he claims to have been "charged" by the power of Thor himself), and various enchanted charms and objects he's made or picked up over the years...not to mention any type of advanced weaponry that the M*O*N*S*T*A*A*H crew may be generous enough to donate to him during the course of a mission.


Special Abilities: Has training in the martial arts (but don't count on him taking out the likes of Shang-Chi or Richard Dragon), a high degree of occult knowledge and alacrity in the mystic arts (but he's certainly no peer with Stephen Strange or Anthony Druid in that department), great knowledge of Witchcraft (i.e., "gray magick," or Wiccan magicks), Norse Magick, and runic divination; and a good degree of knowledge in Eastern philosophy. He's also an adroit chronicler of information, but the quality of his writing skills are up for debate. He's also a longtime political activist and social scientist, which is sometimes helpful on a mission, but also the catalyst of much needless drama and conflict. Oh, and he has the uncanny ability to talk for hours on end about any subject he has interest in, and has been known to put friends and foes alike to sleep as a result.

 


History : A life long socio-political activist who also happened to have a great interest in monster lore, the occult, and adventuring, Chris N's controversial opinions and interests often caused him to be hated by those around him, and he hated the world in return. Stumbling across a mysterious individual (who later turned out to be the then head of the Sons of Fenris seeking young lycanthropic recruits) back in 1982, he found himself bestowed with an ancient object of Norse magick that enabled him to explore the wild side of shape-shifting, along with other "forbidden" occult knowledge. First descending into darkness as a result, by the late 1980's he began doing more to control his bestial side than letting it control him, and discovering the world of writing and social relevance, as well as many causes to fight for that created new optimism and hope for the world to become a better place in his eyes, he fought for these things on many levels. During the same time, he studied the occult under the manipulative auspices of Stephen Strange, and training in the martial arts under many teachers over the years, and this is where he first became affiliated with the Sons of Fenris themselves, striving in defense of a faction of that ancient fraternity who were pursuing the more noble side of lycanthropy. Having his life saved by the Monster Squad in a 1990 adventure, he later became one of the mentors of that team, advocating for youth adventurers, youth heroes, and as a corollary, youth rights.

Studying for a time at Miskatonic University, where he found the final key to enable him to control his bestial side by the late 1990's, he then resumed his lifelong interest in dai kaiju, perhaps the most physically powerful monsters in the world, and wrote a lengthy treatise on them. This eventually caused him, in the course of his research, to become an ardent student of the works of Prof. Win Scott Eckert, Prof. Dennis Power, and Dr. Pete Coogan of Wold Newton University, studying the vast variety of information that basically encompasses the secret history of the world, and some of the most incredible genealogies on Earth. This eventually led him to the work of Prof. Chuck Loridans and the M*O*N*S*T*A*A*H org, which took over from the League of Anti-Diabolists in 2000. Chris N's dissertation on dai kaiju, which he completed via an online study course at Wold Newton University, gained him the attention of Prof. Eckert from the latter university, and his other credentials gained him the attention of Prof. Loridans at M*O*N*S*T*A*A*H, both by 2003.

Chris N's controversial status would prevent the M*O*N*S*T*A*A*H crew from ever working with him as a full fledged agent, but he has become an official ally of the team, and serves as a consultant to them on a regular basis, as well as serving on various missions for the team on an "as needed" basis only.
